An individual undertaking this course will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
1. Must meet English and LLN requirements. The Training Package clearly states:
- Participants must have significant communication skills, be able to read and understand forms and the ability to record details accurately of an incident.
2. Students must have access to a device with camera and audio recording capabilities, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a webcam. This device will be necessary for creating short videos as part of the assessment, in which students verbally explain the required assessment outcomes.
The online learning and assessment is expected to take approximately 5-6 hours to complete. These timeframes are estimates. Individuals with prior experience in similar training may complete the course in less time, while those new to the subject may need more time to complete all the learning content and assessment questions.
This course is delivered fully online and will be self-paced. Students are expected to complete this course within six (6) months after enrolment.
Participants enrolled in this course are required to successfully complete both theory-based and hands-on practical assessments. Specific details regarding these tasks can be found under the Assessment Activities section.
No industry recommended renewal is identified on the certificate, employers are recommended to consult with stakeholders to identify appropriate training periods.

- Students are required to upload three (3) videos of themselves participating in simulated scenarios to complete the practical assessment component
